Russell Patterson

Russell Patterson, SIOR, a Tyler native, founded Patterson Commercial Property Group in 2010 after building a successful career with another local commercial real estate firm. Over the years, he has negotiated transactions with a wide range of tenants, including New York Life Insurance Company, Trinity Mother Frances Hospitals & Clinics, and Stanley’s Famous BBQ.

Russell graduated from Texas Christian University and later earned a Master’s Degree in Education Administration from The University of Texas at Tyler. Before entering commercial real estate, he spent several years teaching U.S. and Texas history, a background that shaped his thoughtful, relationship-focused approach to business.

Outside the office, Russell supports the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America and enjoys long-distance running. He and his wife, Diana, are raising their three daughters in Tyler.
