Erika Maya Gonzalez, a Tyler native, is the co-founder of Maya Properties and a dedicated real estate professional who believes homeownership changes lives.

Before entering real estate in 2015, she spent more than a decade working in the insurance and medical fields, developing the service-first mindset she brings to every client relationship. In 2018, she partnered with Russell Patterson to establish Maya Properties, a locally owned brokerage that has grown to include a team of dedicated agents.

Erika also serves on the board of Leadership Tyler and holds leadership roles with NAHREP Tyler-Longview. She and her husband, Gus, are raising their two sons in Tyler.
